Judy is a sculptor working in various materials. Originally from London she has lived in Cútar, Andalucía since 2005. She has been a community artist, theatre designer, teacher and journalist. Mostly she makes people - sometimes small, sometimes life-size and sometimes larger than life – out of fabric or concrete or clay or paper or whatever she can get her hands on. Sometimes she draws them too. She also makes handmade tiles and teaches sculpture and community art.

Ann Westley was born in Northants, UK, in 1948. She studied sculpture at The West of England College of Art. In 1970 she won a Gulbenkian Rome Scholarship in sculpture and in 1982, a Gulbenkian Printmaking Prize. She has exhibited her sculpture and prints extensively in the UK and in the USA and Germany. She was a part time fine art lecturer for seventeen years and in 2000, published ‘Relief Printmaking,’ a practical printmaking guide for artists and students in the UD, Australia, USA and China.

In recent years, she produced two commissioned works, a wood panelled mural and an iron and corten steel sculpture for the newly created village of Great Notley, Essex, UK. She moved to Spain in 2002. Her home and studio is in Cútar, a small village near Malaga.
